Why is this Donruss Recollection Collection card listed as #375?

There is no notation on the card other than #292 form 1997.

The only way I found this was via filters specific to "AU, SN30"

Just curious because a search for Eric Davis card #292 made more sense but I may be missing something.

Because the checklist is completely wrong and has all incorrect card numbers. Card number should be what is printed on the card.

The members (mainly one member) that added the Note2 should have corrected the card numbers at the same time.  With 1,578 cards that's a huge task to correct them all.

Way back in the day the system could not handle duplicate card numbers, the system would overwrite any images uploaded. This set was inputted before 2015 (the change log only goes back that far) and at that time this is how it was done. It is the same reason you will occasionally come across some NNO sets that are NNO1, NNO2, etc...Now checklists can have duplicate numbers with no issues. This is a monster and will need a ton of work to fix but at least the info that is needed to fix it is in the note2 of each card.

The Note2 edits were made in 2017.  The card numbers could/should have been corrected then.

Wow!  Thanks for the responses and makes sense across the board.  I'm just grateful I was taught to search via filter which is a HUGE benefit!  Either way, I'll add the card here, but was just curious and appreciate the help as always!

I realize that, and it should of, just adding context as to why older sets are added "wrong." They weren't we just can do it better now.
