It was a time consuming process to determine the "card" order. I then tried the Cabrera CL but I ran into an issue getting numbers to match up on year 2 of his career. I repeated it about 4 times before I gave up. I didn't look at Trout, as I was burned out from staring at Baseball Reference for hours.
If you want to attempt to make the CL for Trout, here is what you have to do. Go to the year-by-year game logs

Card 1 is "1" as his first RBI is on the July 15th game
Card 2 is "2" as the next is a 1 RBI game on July 20th
Card 3 is "3-5" as the next is a 3 RBI game on July 24th
Card 4 is "6" as the next is a 1 RBI game on July 27th
After each year, verify that the number you are at (the card number) matches the RBI total. With Cabera I got a match after year 1 but was off by 1 on year 2 and I couldn't figure out where the issue was. Trout should be easier like Harper because he didn't have as long of a career to that point unlike Cabrera which will take a lot more work.
