I have just purchased my first 19th Century trading card. Yeah, it's a ballerina, but the price was right, and it should be in my hand in a few days. I gotta say; I'm pretty excited. Maybe my next one will be something cool like a Norwegian drifter smoking a doobie, but this is a start.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Oh that’s awesome. I’ve been stalking 19th century cards. Gotta be baseball. So far, just too expensive. Maybe this year....
Congrats.

Ok, I’ll bite. Explain the half. Is it literally half a card? Or do you co-own it with someone?

That's what you took that to mean? I just assumed the card began production on December 31, 1899 but they didn't finish it until the next day.

My card arrived today! Wasn't that fast? Six days from California! You can all admire my lovely Laurette ...
