2000 Topps Traded & Rookies Baseball Forum

I have a 2000 Topps Traded & Rookies set, minus the T40 Miguel Cabrera. Looking around, it isna spendy card. Worth holding onto the cards that I have and hope that I find the Cabrera cheap or do I just break up the set and see if I can trade for other cards?

Key question is, do you want to collect the set? If you are doing just to do it because you're one short, that may not be enough motivation to expend the energy. If you actually want the set, then sit tight and wait it out a little; well, until he hits the HOF ballot. It's amazing what you'll find if you sit and wait. Example, I had the '05 Topps FB set minus Mr. Rodgers. For a couple years he was pushing $50 (pandemic pricing). Picked it up a couple months ago at auction for less than half of that. And yes, I wanted to collect that set.
