What I discovered with this set is that I should have most of the cards. Right now I'm up to #230. I think I have up to 20 of any particular card. Some I have over 10 copies and still don't have the missing period version. I'm hoping to need no more than 30-40 Inc cards. When I get to #321 Jeff Hamilton, I'm going to propose adding a new variation. If you look at the Mark McGwire Grand Slammers, you'll see a "gap in black line" version. The Jeff Hamilton on both the dot and no dot versions listed here also have no gap. This hasn't been pointed out. But I also have copies of both dot and no dot that are completely filled in. So instead of 3 variations of this card, there should be 5. I'm hoping my scanner works with my new computer.
Also, I see the Grand Slammers have multiple splatter patterns. I have several of these with patterns not in the database that I will also be eventually adding.
If I find anything else going through that I think is significant, I will also suggest adding. If you look closely at the no period Inc cards, there are sometimes very slight variations where the black line edges into the player's name. I'm keeping these as extras, calling them version b1, but don't think they are significant enough to consider adding to the database. I believe the majority of Inc no dots have this slight shift in the black lines. But who really wants to add another 600+ variations. :)
Anyway, if I come across new variations besides what I mentioned here, I'll post them. For anyone who really cares about seeing the dot or not seeing it, I suggest a strong light and a loop.
