OK, I'll use the Alabama set as an example, but the same issue applies to quite a few of the Panini multi-sport collegiate sets. This set was released in 2015.but is still being marketed (and produced?) by Panini. They have currently added small update sets for many of their collegiate sets that are included free with the purchase of a blaster box of the college's cards. For Alabama, as an example, the update set is a 2 card set that consists of Collin Sexton (basketball) and Calvin Ridley (football).
My instinct is that these update sets should be listed as 2018 card sets (example: "2018 Panini Alabama Crimson Tide Update") with, perhaps a note attached to both the original set and the update set referencing the other portion of the set. I don't think they should be listed directly as "insert/related" sets for the original base set, but I'm not sure how issues like these are handled in the dB and it's easier to get it right at the outset than to fix the problem once it's created...
Thoughts (especially from those more experienced here)?
