1998 Topps Baseball Forum

The checklist says the stamp is in bronze but the one card i've found the Minted logo is stamped in silver, not bronze. Not sure where to find that or if it's an anomaly. Any input would be great. 

A lot of foil cards from that era suffer from their foil fading to silver over time. Sometimes it's what the foil is made of, sometimes it just the effect of being rubbed against other cards many times over. Not an error or parallel so you won't find it in here. 

I only mention it because the player"s name and team name and Topps logo are gold foil stampd whereas the Minted in Cooperstown is silver. I believe I have run across the bronze foil before, but wasn't sure if this was some other parallel or version I can't find on this site. 

Minted in Cooperstown was only embossed with Bronze-colored (or Copper-colored) foil (to me, bronze and copper colors are close enough to be the same). Anything that was or is Silver is either the result of aging, oxidation, wear, or a foil mix-up in the factory. None of which is listable here.
