I don't know. I can't find any mention of this parallel. I couldn't even find anything about 2015 Topps Platinum products on Walmart.com.

You didn't post the notes correctly. First off, the cards are not RC's. Secondly, do not add a "/" between SN and the number. I fixed that checklist's notes to read like they should (AU, SN25). I'm letting you know so that you don't make the mistake again. That is a nice-looking card! I bet it looks better in-person.

I noticed another variation too! The backs of all the lighter-front cards that I own have a darker back that the others. BUT some of the darker-front cards also have a darker back than others. This is getting really confusing. I scanned both versions of the Rob Gronkowski and Julius Thomas cards front and back. The cards on the left in both pics are the 'original' base card and the ones on the right are the light-front/dark-back cards. I have another copy of the Julius Thomas card that has a dark front AND a dark back! I don't know how I can add the scans directly to the thread, but here are the direct PB links.

Thanks for fixing the notes. But now Im confused by the name of the checklist being 'Autographed Rookie', the numbering of the cards being AR-KB and even the 'Congratulations' statement on the back of the card.

Here you go spaz. As long as they stay in your Photobucket they should stay here in the post.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Thanks C2C. I posted the IMG links originally but they showed up as type instead of pictures.

I'm not sure what you are confused about but I'll try to answer that. They are called "Autographed Rookie" b/c there is also an "Autographed Veteran" set. They are not RC cards b/c they are an insert. The only true RC cards in the release are the base cards (#'s 101-150). Anything that is in an insert set or parallel set is not a Rookie card and should not have the RC designation. Does that clear it up?
Oh, the 'Congratulations' is for pulling an autographed card. MEM cards also congratulate you on the back for pulling it.

Cool thanks, now I know what makes a true rookie card. Still have a lot to learn.

I figured that was what tripped you up. In the NFL, it's pretty simple. If it's a base card made the year they were drafted, it's almost always a RC card. The main exception would be a 2-Series set. The second series card of a RC player is not his RC, if he had one in the 1st series. This mostly applies to the Topps main set and Bowman main set (and sometimes their Chrome versions).
In MLB, it is SO complicated that if you don't know if it's a RC or not, ask someone you think will know. There are so many MLB RC cards that were made after the player was drafted but LONG before they played a game in the MLB.
In NASCAR, there is an extra RC card. The drivers' first base cards are their RC card, but then there are CRC cards. Those are their first card as a Cup Series driver.
As you can see, RC cards can get confusing.
