I just got one of these cards in the mail today, 9 William Henry Harrison, but on the back, where the site scan says Kilpatrick's, mine says Rainbo. Do any of our resident non-sport experts know anything about this? Billy, perhaps? I have no idea what Kilpatrick's is/was, nor Rainbo for that matter, but could this be like those MSA baseball discs from the 1970s that advertise a variety of products/stores/whatever on the back?

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Yes, you are right. Kilpatrick, Bel-Art, Rainbo Bread, Colonial Bread, etc.
And the duplication of MSA discs checklists in the database is ridiculous. Any store could order MSA discs with their logo on the back. Or leave it blank and stamp their own on it. And to make separate checklists for every store that order those discs is a waste. We don't do it with the old tobacco cards, why do it with the MSA discs.
Just put it in the Release Notes that they came with a numerous variety of backs.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

The airplane set forum discussion reminded me of this old one from 18 months ago. At the time, I made the personal decision to just add a "Rainbo" note to my own Harrison card when I put it in my collection. That's also the treatment I give my Buyback cards.

I know I know....don't bump old topics, especially ones from over 4 years ago.
I just wanted to ask if this still holds true about not adding the Rainbo version (or any others)? Same 40 cards, the only difference is the logo at the bottom. After dealing with the MSA discs, Topps cereal cards and a few others, I wasn't sure if Admin changed his stance on this or not since then.

Admin never weighed in on the MSA discs. Members just took off with it on their own.
Bit of sage advice:
If you wonder what Admin thinks about something, ask him.

Following up on this one, Admin confirmed each food issue should have its own set, even if the only difference is a store/brand logo.

I remember getting these cards in loafs of Rainbo Bread in 1970s. I have 19 cards. It was Killeen, Texas so Rainbo must be a local Texas compamy.. I can't find the Rainbo set so I will list mine under Kirpatrick unless the Rainbo set was created.
