1986 Sportflics Baseball Forum

Again, very much appreciated! It certainly does seem like the Mantle disc is associated with the 1986 Sportflics Jumbo Discs set, due to the dimensions & the design. However, the checklist doesn't reference it.

It must've been some type of premium like cruff_daddy mentioned… I bought one of these on eBay a few days back for under three bucks – so I’d still like to know what you would’ve had to do to get one of these back when they were issued.

Two of the Jumbo Disc offer cards are listed with the 1986 set; Dwight Gooden and Don Mattingly.

Dale Murphy, Fernando Valenzuela, Tony Gwynn, and Cal Ripken Jumbo Disc offers are listed with the 1987 set.

So we know the years for these discs and they are all not released in one year.  I suspect there might be more offer cards out there for the other discs.
