Is there a way to tag someone as an Olympic Medalist like we do for the HOF? I thought I've seen a PID with that designation before. Maybe I just thought we should and I turned my thought into a false-fact.

If there is a way to tag a PID, I'd appreciate instructions on how to do it. If we don't tag Olympic medalists.....we should.

I'd have to disagree.  HOF is in recognition of a career.  Gold Glove, Cy Young, various other sport awards/trophies are for a single season. We don't tag them. An Olympic medal is an award for a single event, not a lifetime, career, or season achievement.  Now, designating inductees in the US or Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame would be reasonable.

After thinking about it while doing some PID clearing I agree. I think there would be some value added in tagging someone like Picabo Street (she's the PID that sparked the thought), Michael Phelps, Shuan White, etc.... but then I started thinking about soccer teams, basketball teams, water polo, etc....and I realized that it doesn't make much sense. Add World Cups and World Chamionships and then the Olympic Medal designation really falls apart.
