Argg. When it came out the other day he was crook I hoped he had longer than this.

As a very casual baseball fan who only started watching in the early 2000s Wakefield always fascinated me.

RIP.

One of my favorites, a real team player. You will be missed Tim.

Deeply saddened by this. He wasn't a superstar, but used dedication and hard work to carve out a 19 year career. He was as easy of a player to root for as you could imagine. He was taken from us way too young, and with his wife also fighting cancer, my heart goes out to that entire family. RIP Wake, and thank you.
