though he's only getting paid $2 million per year for 10 years, and deferring $68 million per year for 10 years
the hit to the CBT is calculated as $46 million per year for 20 years
my first reaction to the deferral news of "only $2 million per year," was thinking that the Dodgers could
1. resign Kershaw, and
2. go after Yamamoto, and
3. go after Josh Hader, and
4. go after one of the top available OF guys [since Mookie is moving to 2B]
But, with the $46 million CBT is considered, I think they can keep Kershaw + get only one more guy from their wish list
