Joe (NJDevils) was a daily fixture on the site. Some members noticed when he went "missing". We tried variouis ways to make contact. Joshua (Sportzcommish) was finally able to get in contact with his brother. This is from Joe's brother Tom:
"Joe suffered a stroke in mid-March. The stroke has mainly affected his speech. His motor skills are in good shape. He needs a lot of speech therapy. He’s working hard at the therapy daily. He is unable to handle email, texts, and the telephone. He understands what’s going on, but it is extremely difficult for his brain to get the thoughts expressed."
Joe, our thoughts are with you. We're all pulling for you to have a complete recovery. You'll be sorely missed in the meantime.

I started to think something was wrong when I noticed his eBay link forum posts were down and he hasn't logged in for over a month. I too wish for a fast and complete recovery as he goes through these tough times.

As one of the several members I've met in person (and possibly the first), I'm really sad to see he's had this happen. If you know Joe, you know how great a person he is. If you haven't, you're missing out. Hope you recover quickly, Joe!

I believe Joe may have been the first person to reach out to me when I first came onboard here at tcdb. Hopefully he recovers fully and quickly.
