Hockeydb is the wrong party here (which where we probably got our info). If that date is right, and I know they start 'em young in Canada, but he would've started playing in utero.

I'm guessing it's probably supposed to be 1964, but that may not be right either.

Found him on Facebook (of all places). He was class of 1982 (high school), so 1964 falls in place.
