There are only 2 things that can ever bump my #1 event from above. When you wait over 30 years to see your favorite team play live and never think it will happen... And then it does AND at their stadium, that's really special. Considering my home state has never had an MLB team and the closest ones to me are Atlanta and D.C., I didn't think I'd ever get to see the Cardinals play in-person. When the opportunity finally presented itself, I jumped at the chance and made it happen. Here are the only two live events that could bump it from #1:
1. Watching the Cardinals in a World Series game in Busch Stadium and they win it (esp. a Game 7).
2. Watching the Panthers win a Super Bowl in any stadium.

Update. Danville won the game 5-3. Update 2: I slept since then, and I'm wide awake now, so I think I'll probably go back tonight. It's not the almost two hour round trip that gets me (I went 3 times in 8 days), it's slowing down in all the cop-heavy small towns between Paris and Danville. Never got a ticket or anything, but it makes a 38 mile drive take almost an hour.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Went to another Dashers game tonight. They beat the evil Port Huron Prowlers 5-2. We're off to a 3-1 start with a road trip ahead. So lucky for you all, I won't have any more Dashers game reports for a couple weeks. However, I may go see a different team next weekend. Not decided yet.

My next game is Right Now. USHL Hockey. Central Illinois Flying Aces vs Dubuque Fighting Saints. Row 2, directly behind the goal. The goal light is above my head. Warm-ups were fun. Those visitors weren't aiming at the goal. They were aiming at my head. (Footage on Snapchat switzr1). I will use this opportunity to proclaim that I HATE rebranding without relocation. This team was the Bloomington Thunder last year. All these kids, and adults, in their Thunder sweaters are outdated now.
The location of my seat is perfect. The seat itself is broken. It faces slightly downward so I'm sliding out of it. The crowd is small. The facility is nice and modern. The ticket was $10. The parking was free. The hockey girl from work turned down my invitation. The Zamboni just finished. Puck drops in 18 minutes. Two new teams for me. I'm excited!!

They just showed the dirtiest car in the parking lot on the scoreboard. Owner won a free car wash. After looking at it a few seconds, I realized it was mine. How embarrassing.

While visiting some family in Ohio, I took my kids to their first MLB game. Reds v. Braves. Needless to say it was a great first experience. The game went to the tenth with a pinch hit walk off HR. Unfortunately the Braves were on the losing end but a great time nontheless.

that may be the funniest thing I've read in a long while David, thanks for the laugh! Did you know, there are carwash fanatics? I took a video of inside a carwash and posted it on YouTube many years ago, and I STILL get comments about it...even people debating in the comments about which kind of carwash it is. I had no idea there were carwash fanatics, but I sure learned. HERE is the video if you want to watch it. I posted it November 7th, 2010 and it has 22,000 views- my second most popular video. Of course, it's not anywhere near as popular as my #1 video, with 536,992(!) views at the time of this writing... toilet bank.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.
