I had all but the tuna/prickly pear in the first 5 minutes. After lots of looking around and checking many different things, thought that my pepper answer sounded really solid. Never even thought of a prickly pear. At least I am still somewhat in contention for the top 5, as long as I don't miss a question in the final round. Should be interesting for sure. Congrats to CollectorTBNL on the likely victory due to getting so far ahead of the field.

Less than an hour away from the final re-start!
While TBNL relaxes in the back of the pace car, the rest of the field is forming up three-wide. Lea, Al & Jay are fairly comfortably in the "top 5" zone - but Castle, Jupiter & King are poised to make a run to 5th or better as well - meanwhile Vroomed, Mike & Flyers are long-shots who will need a miracle (or three) to challenge for the "prize" spots.
Stretch your fingers & clear your browsers - it's almost race time!

Race #5: The "SaintOrm 500" has begun!
...well, once I post this & then set up the link, that is. (the link is "open" now)
Last chance for those intrepid 15 racers to vie for prizes, bragging rights, or just to have fun figuring out more random bits of trivia.
Once the race results are "official" (tomorrow at 5 PM Pacific), I will start making contact with the participants & figure out where each prize is heading.
Thanks again to everyone & good luck!

Well, I was distracted and late getting answers submitted so probably won't make up enough points for a prize position. Congrats to the top 5 who received prizes. It was great to play along the entire time and I learned many things I had previously not known. Thank you to SaintOrm for putting on this event for all of us. It was an awesome opportunity with lots of learning opportunities.

It's finally over!
Tscastle grabs another #1 spot from CollectorTBNL, but the three-time winner takes the ultimate checkered flag!
Results for the last race & final overall standings are updated on page 1.
CollectorTBNL gets the "SaintOrm 500" prize & LeaDeFoote gets first pick of the remaining four prizes. If anyone wishes to, they can pass on a prize selection & let the next finisher have a chance to choose (or also defer). Once all four other prizes have been claimed I'll start packing things up.
Since there was a loyal group of 15 racers, I want to send out something to everyone. I will be making TCDb "Friend" requests, or if you don't want to do that please PM your mailing address to me.
Thanks again to all of you. It was a lot of work, but worth it. Glad you had fun & learned a few odd facts along the way!

I only did 2 races is that loyal? I was going to do more but I just had a lot going on and wasn't really thinking about them. The first 2 were still a fun thing to take part in and I wish I could've gotten to the others! EDIT: I'll take your friend request as a yes!

Thanks Kurt, That was fun!
I'd like the "Citgo 121" prize.
Honestly, If I had placed first I would have been torn between accepting the top prize or asking for this one, so I'm glad it's not a choice for me to make.
Thanks again!

TwinKiller - yes, you did come back for seconds at least & I know it was "biased" towards west-coasters as far as post-time.
LeaDeFoote - that prize is yours, thanks.
jaymcee - you're up next - remaining prize choices are: AP50, CC130 & PP150
I have all the prize packs listed in their own "Collection" in my profile, if you want to take a closer look at what you'll get.

Thank you for such a great contest and exciting races. Congratulations to all the winners and other competitors. I was quite surprised I got all the answers correct in that last race. I wish I would have got in on the first race quicker, but happy with how I placed overall.
