Anyone else watching this Angels @ Astros game tonight? Ohtani has 12 K's , 2 hits, a run and an RBI and it's only the 6th inning. Oh(tani) and he's only given up 1 hit so far plus a walk. Never seen anything like this kid in my life. 

Yes, he's unreal.  I think the Angels may have the two best players in MLB now.  And if Trout & Ohtani can stay healthy and do this some more years they Angels may end up with best 2 players of all time.  Now if they can only start making it to the playoffs.....   Seeing Ohtani dominate the World Series in the box and on the mound may take the cake as best baseball event ever.    

And they pulled him off the mound after the sixth. I don't get it? 

Yes, that's modern baseball.  I don't really like it but I doubt it will change.  Teams carry like 12-13 pitchers so they just have such a quick hook. They also have pitchers that are worth tens of millions of dollars so they are trying to overprotect them.   I wonder what Nolan Ryan would have done if someone tried to take him out in the sixth when he had a one hit shutout going.  I think the manager may have ended up in a headlock.
