Basketball is my favorite sport, but baseball is a close second. There is just something about baseball that gives me a good feeling. It has some sort of aura about it that is hard to describe. I hope to make it out to the ballpark for a spring training game in the near future. Just wanted to share in my excitement for today, especially after the lockout. ------------------------------- -Shannon

I'll take a break from basketball to watch the 1st Cardinals game tomorrow. 99% chance of rain here, and I only work until 11 AM, so the timing couldn't be better.! ------------------------------- I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Should be interesting to watch how fast the political pressure increases on NYC mayor Eric Adams when the Yankees can't put Aaron Judge in the lineup for home games. I'm thinking the Yankees have a lot more influence than the Brooklyn Nets...
