Minnesota Vikings 1969 NFL Champions (pre-merger) and 4 Super Bowl appearances; 70, 74, 75, & 77.

Don't want the Vikings to lose credit for the 69 win. In Minnesota, you have to take the wins when you can get them.

It's true they were the NFL champions, but in 1969, that was the same as winning the conference championship. They went on to lose the Superbowl (which technically was in 1970, but was for the 69 season). Kinda like Tampa Bay won the Super bowl for the 2020 season even though it was played in 2021.
