Epson V600. It's not a cheap scanner ($300 or so, I got mine on sale) but you get what you pay for. It's capable of scanning any card, and no lines at all, unlike every other scanner. It can also handle depth, meaning you can scan graded cards, deep openings for material in relic cards comes out clearly, etc.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. I recently picked up a Epson V39 direct from Epson ($80 USD). Does pretty good but doesn't have the ability to do encased/graded cards like Billy's V600 apparently.

I had the v39 but wouldnt recommend it. My school was about to throw out a v330 (I grabbed it) but it's missing both cords and Im not sure I want to spend the money on it.

I echo all that Billy said about the Epson V600. I've had mine for 9 months and it is great.

The V330 is a solid scanner. I have one that I use for film, slides, and anything that doesn't lay flat on the glass (it is a CCD type scanner). The communication cable is a standard USB cord that is typically used on printers as well, that one should be easy to find. The power supply is 13.5V DC, 1.2A output. I don't know the correct terminology for the type of plug, but it is 5mm outside diameter. You may be able to find one that works without getting the Epson branded one.
