Congratulations to your sister. Some times a small wedding is a nicer wedding.

I definitely agree Dave. I think she'll remember the whole thing much better now than she would have with dozens more guests. It would have been a whirlwind of faces and words. She could not stop smiling throughout the entire afternoon, especially the ceremony itself. I've never seen her smile continuously for such a long time in the nearly 38 years of her life. I am so happy for her, and her husband. He's a great guy and I think she finally picked the right guy for her.

Some good news, we ll spring has sprung on the Canadian praries finally. To celebrate last night we reopened the Patan hottub, we enjoyed beverages and bubbles while watching Elon's washing machines fly by overhead was great. It was also the first night it did not freeze and this coming week is highs of double didgits from Monday to Friday. Jr starts at home school Tuesday and my daughter and I will be filling our water resivour(?) with fresh snowmelt water. It helps to feed our water well for the year. Of course I will supervise as my righty is still not mighty lol.
My final good news is simply C2C, he has been a solid support friend through out all my blahs the past six months or so and he never lets up. One day he will be rewarded, thanks bud.

Reservoir! Not sure how you Canadians spell it, but isn't that a French word?
Glad to hear that it's warming up a bit for you. It's kinda staying cool for April here in NC, USA. I'm afraid to get the garden started b/c we keep having frost warnings as we drop to near-freezing temps some mornings. Three days in a row for each of the past 2 weeks. In-between the freeze warnings, we keep getting severe thunderstorm warnings. Crazy weather here lately. I'll get seeds in the ground soon though.

Likewise here on the east coast we're anxiously awaiting the "spring thaw" to arrive. I had a few spare moments over the weekend and even tried to chip away at a few of the remaining snowbanks in the front and back yards. Can't wait to get the Camaro out of mothballs even though we really have nowhere to go yet but even to go to the grocery store once a week would make enough reason.

I successfully polished something for the first time. For most people this is probably not a big deal but for me it was.
This is how it looked since 2008, when I messed up the clearcoat:
and this is how it looks now that I've polished it:
While it's not perfect, it's a LOT better than it was before...this is actually buildable!
It is eventually going be a model of Stan Barrett's 1981 Skoal Bandit car.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. Hope everyone down in Nova Scotia (if any) are safe and not affected by the horrors of the weekend. Just thought I'd check. The reason for the post was to say that is why I could not spell Resevoir (its french lol). And Billy what hobby don't you have? Knowing you, you probably knit your own items, darn your own socks and sew your own clothes. ;)

Hah, no I don't know how to knit. I actually want to learn how to repair socks but don't know where to begin.
At some point later this year I plan to get my rock and mineral collection out and photo document them...
I don't know of any Nova Scotia members, but I'm pretty sure I have distant cousins there...one part of my family spent generations there before moving to Vermont.
