I think it's cool for the second year in a row we have first-time winners. Next year...Sabres!!!

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

You know it's funny. I have one card of Binnington...maybe 2, I would have to check. It's from the 2011-12 season! He's been working his way up through the ranks all this time. I have to wonder if they might have had more success if they had brought him up sooner.
I have a cool hockey post scheduled on Cardboard History to go off at 4:30 this afternoon (EST). Just a quick plug.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. Cardboard History My COMC New Collection Website: Cardboard History Gallery (Still under construction) Tips on how to make your scans look like the card does in hand (No more washed out, fuzzy scans!):

Congrats to St. Louis! I’m so happy the Bruins lost (Canadiens fan here)! Good luck to them in the future.

The Blues winning is something I thought I'd never see, but it was great to watch - that is for sure.

I just never got into being a Blues fan, but I am happy for their fans, and happy for St. Louis and the state of Missouri. I think the stars aligned right for the Blues to win this year and the Cardinals not doing as well as they normally do. Usually the die hard Blues fans stick around all season, but the Cardinals fans tend to go back to them once their season begins. It seemed they stayed with the Blues all the way this year, and glad it paid off. I watched a bit of the St. Louis news last night (thank you NewsON on Roku for letting me watch local news almost ANYWHERE in the US), and they said tickets to Enterprise and Busch were 20 bucks a pop. I don't think I would have gone, but it was nice to hear its going to charity.
Now I hope another sport crowns a first time champion, even if they don't reside in the same country as I do.

They really caught fire at the beginning of January and were dead last at one point. Kudos to the Blues for finally raising Lord Stanley. Now if only by some miracle the Leafs could take some notes ( no pun intended) from the Blues.

The super hockey guy ias late to the party. Happy they won absolutely. Bruins have won it enough and its nice to see a fresh face at the head table. Too many reasons to list why I was cheering but Patty Maroon would be the first!! Only left Edmonton because St. Louis made an offer during FA frenzy. Fun fact: the last team to win a Stanley Cup in Boston ....... Edmonton in 1990 ROFL!!!!! =D

I’m especially happy Patrick Maroon won! I’ve always liked him ever since he signed my program when he was with the Syracuse Crunch.
