As I speak, my co-worker is talking about curling to her granddaughter on the phone  In Illinois. It's contagious!

I wonder if any of the current card companies are monitoring the Database...if we start seeing new Curling sets coming out later this year, perhaps they are!

Yes, I think so David; and add "ies" to that above comment mbarlow, and for some people that are curling they would sell like "hotpants" ;) Well for some of the teams anyways. LOL

They should bring out a set of olympic medal winners for each games, with a relic/auto subset like someone mention, its only every 4 years. 

Not sure how it works from country to country but I would assume that the "money" thing would make it a bit tougher. I'm pretty sure that in Canada we have money bonuses for players who medal. But the rules are odd when it comes to IOC and whaqt can or can not be done. I know those in the US have said they have olympic sets but as for other countries so far crickets. It would be a worldwide hit I am sure!! I'd buy some for sure.

Topps does an Olympics set every two years (US athletes only), and Billy has mentioned that a Topps employee once told him they have to sign each athlete individually to get them in the sets. Not like a players union in a team sport.  I'm sure an international set would be near impossible to do legally.  But if they could, I would suddenly become a set builder.
