Card Identification Forum

Seems to have the subject image from the plaque, but the text is typed out (as opposed to most BBHOF post cards, which show an image of the enitre plaque).  Back is blank.  Here's the ebay listing (http://r.ebay.com/IhAa7N) but the seller seems uncertain of when it was printed.  I couldn't find any other similar items, but hopefully the TCDB super-sleuths can crack the case.

I have been seeing these items as being associated to the HoF itself.  Such as a souvenir from the HoF or as a response to a request for an autograph via the mail.  I do have one point about the year they are listing it as since Mr. Lindstrom didn't get inducted into the HoF until 1976.  At least the authenticity of the card checks out on the PSA website.  So I would think that his card MUST be at least only 1976 or older.  It wouldn't be plausible for a plaque card to exist since he wasn't in the HoF at that time.  Best I could do for you.

Since the HOF Plaque Postcards were only sold in the HOF Gift Shop I'd ask them if they recognize it.  The HOF Plaque Postcards of the yellow style started in 1964 and then added to each year with new inductees.

Yes, it doesn't appear to be a postcard (different aspect ratio, no markings on back).  Great idea to start from his induction year!

I was thinking the same thing. Handed out prior to/at his induction and before the plaque was unveilled. That's why it doesn't look like the actual plaque. And then the person attending the ceremony got Freddie to sign the card.
