I have this Dale Earnhardt and have ID the front as 2002 Press Pass Trackside Foil, except mine has silver lines instead of foil. Only the back side is 2002 Press Pass Trackside. 

Has anybody else seen this or know what it is.

So the front missed the foiling step?

Yes the front is missing the foiling step. The picture though is from the foil card, while the back is from the regular card.

Yes, It looks like your card is missing the foil.  It is a production flaw, not a listable variation.

Did you pull it from a pack, or acquire it on the aftermarket?

I notice it is also missing the serial number.

Came across it at a show Sunday, I believe in a .25 cent box.  

The serial number was the first thing I had noticed and made me look for the card somewhere else. Leading me to the front being different on the non foil card, but it had silver lines. So I will list it in my Earnhardt collection as a factory mismatch.

In that case, it is probably an overrun or a caught defect that came out of the Press Pass library (vault) after they closed.

I'm not sure if they during production applied the "Celebration Foil" to the cards as a full sheet or after they were cut.  That tidbit would help determine if this is an overrun or defect.
