Card Identification Forum

Just had a friend of mine send me a set of 1994 Competitive Motorsports Products Superstars of NASCAR Kyle Petty Postcards. Went to add them to my collection but the only set listed in TCDB is a Dale Jarrett set. I'm still a newbie here, but I'm sure there's a process for updating the database; can somebody point me in the right direction? TIA

There are a whole bunch of these Competitive Motorsports postcard sets from the early-mid 90s and most are not on here.  For me these always seemed to be in the questionable area for listing on the site since they are pure post cards and not made by a trading card manufacturer, but I have been seeing more and more checklists like that get added.

I'd tend to agree with you, and I not seen the Jarretts listed, I'd have never thought to consider these part of my trading card collection. I typically group my postcards along with my hero cards. It seems, though, that by listing some postcards, the site errs on the side of inclusion. So, I figured I'd ask. Thanks for the reply :)

With the site being crowd sourced, things get added all the time that may not meet the guidelines, and won't get taken down unless flagged for Admin to take down, then he makes the call. There are some he has allowed up that have surprised me, but it is his site so his right to do whatever he wants. I do not know if any of the current Competitive Motorsports Postcard set checklists have been brought to his attention on not. I have not asked.
