I speak from experience when I tell you 99.9% of active members on this site are helpful and really appreciate when other members become more active and assist with adding things like properly cropped images and researched checklists that aren't copied and pasted from Panini's notoriously error filled releases. However because of the time, efforts and resources put in to this site it may seem a remark is meant to be personal or perhaps "worded harshly" but it I've never seen it to be the case in my 5+ years on here. That is, if someone is trying and asks questions etc the team will take the time to help out. Actually a few months ago I made an error note but stated how I wanted to make the change myself but was worried I'd do it incorrectly. Several people posted to the remark and Admin actually asked if everyone would leave the error and let me have time to properly fix it; and I did. The point isn't that I fixed a silly item but to illustrate how easy it would've been for any of them to go ahead and make the 8 second change...but, instead, more time was taken to both send me a message w/instructions and send another message making the point to leave it for me to gain the experience.
By the way, I ramble on these things so I apologize for taking up your thread. I do think it is important to share this though so anyone who may have gotten the wrong impression - whether misinterpreted by reader or unintended by writer. Badically as long as we (all of us are fallible) make note(s) of what has been done incorrectly and make efforts to improve all is good in the database world :) Plus there are always the forums for asking advice or for specifics.
Happy Monday- Cheers! Becky Elizabeth
