Card Identification Forum

My first post, so go easy on me.

I have a card that appears to be an extension of the 2017 Sage Hit set but does not appear in the checklist.  The checklist goes up to card 135 but this is card 136.  Thoughts?

Honestly I thought I'd type in Zay Jones and filter by card number and find it but it wasn't on here...a quick Google search found:

No photo but it verified someone had a 2017 Sage Hit Premier Draft Zay Jones card no.136 for trade at one point... I'll check the guide then leave it to the real experts on here to handle it for ya ;)

I did a lot of searching before I posted and didn't find much other than the Beckett blanks you mentioned.  I have gotten good with searching by name on this site, and then filtering by card number.  This has come in handy many times.

It is strange that this card looks to be part of the set but is not mentioned anywhere other than the Beckett site.  Even the GoGTS "official" checklists don't mention it.  https://gogts.net/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/2017-SAGE-HIT-Premier-Draft-High-Series-Football-Cards-Checklist.pdf

Looks like a couple more unannounced cards in this set.

Nice find!  How is this handled in TCDb since they weren't part of the regular checklist?  Add to regular checklist since they are sequential or add as promo cards?

It depends how they were released. Were they given out to promote the product? Then promos. Were they in the packs or distributed like the rest of the set without a "special" release? Then they should be appended to the already existing checklist. Once we know the distribution method, we will have a better grasp on where they should be added. And it would help to know who 137 is.
