Ok I opened the pack and the back does seem to confirm a variant set. Still numbered to 30, but different order (Brett is 17 in base and 1 in this one) and the more detailed positions (on some - 1st base, 3rd base) cannot find a checklist for this variant

Your backs have a lot less information. Only one year of stats and no bio write-ups. Possibly a sample sent to retailers? Card back currently in database: ------------------------------- *Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.*
