But the back is different. There's no year date, not a promotional card...need assistance please.(and he is also "tackling Jim kelley" like the price guide says)

The card in the database has a different front, back, and card #. Possibly some sort of test design. ------------------------------- *Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.*

Is a "test design" similar to a promo?

A test design is more on the order of a "Prototype" than a promo. Promo cards were simply for that - to promote the upcoming set or to help sell the set. A protoype was more like trial & error.

All I can say is, Poor Jim Kelly! ------------------------------- I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
