Looking at other Production Line inserts, the stamping is very inconsistent (on all cards) as far as centering & even vertical positioning of individual numbers. Donruss must have hired some former librarians to affix the foil numbers with those hand-held, rotating number-ring stampers... and they forgot to reset the hundreds-digit to "0" after finishing Tino's 577th card (or Raul's 541st card).
Well, at least the last part of that theory is likely correct. There's another Mo Vaughn card on COMC with a number in the 300s. So, perhpas all of his "0--/560" cards are mistakenly numbered 500-599. This could have created duplicates of 61 SNs, and 39 over-"produced" SNs.
That's my $5.02 anyway :)
