In the 10th (and final?) issue of BHCR, v3#1 Summer-Fall 1985, there is no T206 insert. However, in the Letter from the Publisher on the inside front cover, Renato Galasso says this:
"A major change that you will notice immediately is the absence of the 40 card centerfold of the T-206 set, don't push the panic button! We have received a lot of calls and letters from readers saying the cards often get damaged by the Post Office, all four of the final centerfolds will be sent under separate cover with the last issue."
She also states that Pete Rose is joining the staff of BHCR, with details in the next issue.
So it's possible that there are more of these 40 card panels out there than we are aware of. The only way to tell is if 1) a former subscriber says whether they got the 4 centerfold sheets or not, or 2) the "missing" cards show up on ebay or somewhere.
In the first issue, it is stated that the reprints will continue for the next 12 issues, with the 11th & 12th issues having 42 cards each, bringing the total cards to produced to 524.
The centerfold cards are all marked "Renata Galasso Reprint".
Also, in all ten issues of BHCR that I have, there is no mention of a separate set of T206 reprint cards for sale. The set we refer to as the 1983 Galasso reprint has "Capital Reprint" on the back. Why is this set called the 1983 Galasso set? Why wouldn't a Galasso set have "Renata Galasso reprint" on the back? How do we know this was released in 1983? The colorful box decorated with T206 cards that I have has no indication of publisher or date. Does the wood grain box have any such markings?
