Card Identification Forum

I live in Rancho Cucamonga and the Quakes gift shop was having a sale on some old sets. I picked up a few. The 2007 MultiAd set is different than what is listed here so I put up card #1 as evidence. On this site the MultiAd Quakes set is listed as a 34 card NNO set when it is actually a 36 card numbered set (numbers are above the minor league logo on the back). Without the graphics loaded in the database I can't see what cards are really loaded here. They are in the collection of only one other member so I messaged him to please check his cards to verify they were 2007 MultiAds. No response. 

I don't want to put in for an innacuracy change that will possibly mess up someone else's collection. I also don't want to see the website with an inaccuracy and to not be able to key in my own set. If the cards are rearranged in numerical order what happens to his set? What's the right way this should be handled?

Just out of curiosity, was 1 his uniform number and not the card number? I ask as I see the 1 on the front of the card also when numbering is normally only on the back. If it is the uniform number then the set may be NNO.

Above the MiLB logo on the back, it says Card 1 of 36.  I think you need to report the inaccuracy and update the set.  Wait until that owner replies.  Give them a week or two.

If the cards are numbered, then file an inaccuracies report.

Check the other cards and see what it says over the MiLB logo on the back.

The whole set is numbered 1 of 36, 2 of 36, 3 of 36, etc. all the way through 36 of 36. It's only a coincidence that Statia's uniform number also happens to be #1.

I have no problem filing an inaccuracy report as long as it isn't going to mess up someone else's collection. I also don't mind scanning and submitting the graphics. I see that as the least I can do in exchange for being here free of charge. It's just going to take a while to catch up considering the oddball stuff in my collection and the minor league sets missing the artwork.

You're not going to mess up anyone's collection by correcting the card numbers.  If you don't have permissions to correct card numbers, post the checklist here.  And identify the two cards that are currently missing from the checklist.  Once the card numbers are corrected the checklist can be resorted by card number.

And you're doing great. Keep up the good work.

I just checked, the only person with this set in their "collection" has it on their want list. This checklist is no good, and should be removed. I will put a request in.
