Not sure if this has been addressed before. I find the individual set type stat feature in my collection fun and helpful, but cannot figure why there is no stat link covering everything. The whole collection. Nothing seems beyond the ability of the admins to create, so it's kinda perplexing to me. It would be great to see an overview of my entire collection stats. Am I just missing something that is already there somewhere?

Perhaps it is simply a matter of your being able to articulate what such a collection of stats would include?

I can't believe no
one (namely me!)
has ever thought of
that before Jon,
but that's a great
idea. I'd love to
be able to see
which sets would
crack the top 100
with most in my
collection. I just
finished an Excel
chart earlier today
listing all the
sets represented in
my collection,
color coded by
subject. I came up
with 1,292 and I
think I most likely
missed a few...and
have a few I can't
identify as well.
Someday, when I
finish scanning
everything, I plan
to do a major (re)
count and figure it
all out myself. OCD
and card collecting
goes hand in hand I
think. (lol)

it goes for all collections that ocd is considered part of it. I have to agree. I can find information on my sets near complete, but beyond that, I have to scavenge to find out which set I should next complete. More information on the collection should be an option.

Yes, I think so.
I've been
collecting various
things my entire
life...and have the
storage units to
prove it, LOL. I
already have the
next things to
document lined up
after I finish
scanning my cards,
but I don't expect
to finish them
until 2017 or so. I
had originally
thought I could
finish in 2015 but
it's not going as
quick as I'd like.

What I mean to say DaClyde, is that for each genre in my collection- baseball, basketball, etc., there is a "stats" option which lists top priced card, top names, teams, etc.
I would like to be able to do that with my collection in it's entirety. At the bottom of the collection box, in the Totals section, the "stats" button is conspicuously absent. I need it! :-)

lol. we all seem to agree there needs to be more information. each of us have a different perspective on what that is. :) That would definitely be an anticipated feature as well!

The reality is, this site has more than enough information and features to keep me busy. That one thing just kinda seems unusually missing. Thought I'd mention it. Onward..
