I have a Collection labeled Danny Wuerffel. Every card in the database is in there. If I don’t have it, I want it. Is there a way to search other traders who have cards in their FS/FT list that I need? 
 

I see the option that selects other traders with his cards to trade but it doesn’t separate between cards I have and cards I want. Going through each card to find if it is available is a huge task. Basicly, I just want to find cards from my want list that others have to trade, but only in my Wuerffel collection, not every card in all my collections.

It has been my experience (so anyone feel free to correct me) that there is no way to specifically only search for the wantlists of a specific collection.  When searching other members for items on your wantlist, it will use your wantlist from all your collections.  

I think your best bet will be to go through the list of every member with his card on their trade list https://www.tcdb.com/CollectionSummaryP.cfm/pid/19515?MODE=FORSALETRADE and see which ones you can trade match with.  On the plus side there is only 205 members on that list.

See I did that with Keibert Ruiz but a few problems. Yes it is the most efficient way but hitting a thousand names and looking if they have any I don’t have by the naked eye. Then if they did over half of them I had nothing or they were inactive. So about 1000 to 200 members that had one I need. Than to about 50 that I could make a trade with. About 30 declined and 20 accepted.

I have done that in the past as well as clicking on each individual card to see if there are any FT in the mentions. It is just very tedious to go through each trader and to check each card against my collection. Then the next day a trader might update and I would have no way to know unless I went back and did it all over again.

Under your profile settings is this option:

Receive alerts when items on your Wantlist or For Sale / Trade match other members' lists?

You can set this to daily (or hourly) and receive notices when someone adds a card that is on your wantlist.

The only other thing I could suggest to you is to either:

Clear out all other wants and run the Matching report

or

Create a new ID with all the Wuerffel wants and run the matching report there

I created a new account with only my Wuerffel wants, no other collection, no FT, nothing but the wants. Ran the match report, got two hits and sent offers from my Gatorade96 account. One is in transaction and the other I am still waiting on their counter. So if I get two trades out of it the it is worth it. I will now be able to just adjust out any new cards off the want list and easily run the report at any time. I didn’t want to create a second account but it really was the easiest way to go. Oh I needed to use a second email for the new account as well. Thanks to vroomed for the idea!
