Finally sat down and started reading this thread.  
Many thanks, belatedly, to BigDog13 for the Secret Santa gift package.

I wanna send a belated thanks to St.Orm for welcoming me with a fantastic first year participant (me) collection that hit all the bases (huh huh)? I got fuzzy mascots, nice green wide open ball parks  where some of fave guys played like Andre Dawson and some negro leaguers and an umpire!!  There were some old vintage cards that could very well have gone in my bicycle wheels if I had any idea how to do that in the days of the heavy cardboard wax pax, but before they turned to junk as the roids raged. There were newer slicker prints and even the new “gourmet artisanal” cards that are purposely aged to look old timey.  I would have used the cubs sticker on the car (like the old Euro country IDs) if I didn’t worry constantly I will have all the parts fall off at the next stop light so I’ll use it for the cover of a new binder that will house some really neat Cubby stuff that BucCollector sent me, seemingly just cuz. Promo postcards and even a couple John Hancock plus a home made Ernie Banks card that I should have made since his cards were all but snapped up by the late 70s. That one will not be going onto the bike wheels, but I’ll be in touch. I hope the package I sent out has landed too, like a lost package found under the tree when it gets taken out in March. Huge shout out to Ricky_Bobby vfor the secret Sn ata package that he resent out for uss. Arrived today and cant wait to bust open and film the contents. Thanks once again to Dan for setting us for us year after year and doing all the behind the scene work he does. 

Maybe the original will show up one day. Very nice that he sent a replacement.
