Some Release Notes direct you to other checklists/sets. Sometimes completely different sets, sometimes an insert or parallel in the same set. The hyperlink would take you directly to the checklist for those cards. Admin has added this to the New Feature Tracker; Release Notes Hyperlinks

Anyone that sees Release Notes that need the hyperlinks added, please do so. I just updated the 2019-20 Upper Deck Release Notes; just awaiting Admin's review/approval.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I know people have requested this for a while, so this is great! (And now I have to go back and link all the notes I've updated )
Found a bug though .... it looks like we can't do hyperlinked text in the "more" area of the Release Notes. The example above on 2019-20 UD hockey works fine because the full Release Notes fits on the page. I just tried the same on 2004 Donruss Studio and I couldn't click "more" afterwards. UPDATE: I see it worked for this 2019-20 example though. hmmm
Now that we have this feature, what do we want the standards to be? It seems to make the most sense to put the hyperlink on the numbered range that's found elsewhere (as seen above), but do we also need the hyperlink on the other set's name too? Or is that link on the main set itself and not the insert/parallel?

I think the way Chuck's example is shown is our best course - the number range there should be linked to the actual insert set while the "parent" set should be linked where it's referenced.
My personal opinion. Since you asked. :)

My intent in the above example was redundancy, both should go to the Update checklist. The sentence is refering to the Update cards. So, I hyperlinked keywords to go to the Update checklist. Don't overthink it. It's just a way to get quickly to the checklist for any cards that are mentioned in the Release Notes.
This will be great for those Panini Hobby vs Retail checklists. Hyperlinking the "Retail are listed as a Parallel" will go directly to the Retail checklist.

The redundancy may not be needed, and if I want to see what product contained the rest of the set I'm looking for, that seems like a good place to reference the overview (ViewSet) page of it.
One other thing I noticed: Inserts/Related is still text-only, so we can't link to parallels or any inserts that appeared in a later product (like many Panini ones). Not sure if that's in the plans, but there's plenty to update already at the main level, so it's OK.
