Yes, I'm yelling it. To those who keep doing this, please stop. Admin has reiterated that there are NO RCs or XRCs in any parallel sets. At least one more was added this way today. I have since removed the RC in the Note field.

Fine, but what about if a player's ONLY Topps card is a Gold parallel? Would that not be his rookie card? Have at it! LOL.

Yeah, I think they did that in hockey, where they replaced checklists with players in the Gold parallel set. That's the very rare exception. Thanks for bringing that up. :)

NJD always stirring the pot eh .............. must be his water?! As for the yelling ........ please do not stop it !! =) I know that parallel and inserts do not count. Does that go for anything mem or autos? I know it has to be a major release and in the base set but some of those sets include both autos and mem cards. Clarification ........... and make it LOUD AND CLEAR!!

If it is the only version of the card, then it is not a parallel.

What about the situation where there are two cards for a player as part of a major release?
Example: 96-97 ultra basketball.
Series 1 contains Kobe Bryant
Series 2 also contains a Kobe Bryant card listed as a rookie encore on the card which is a subset within the major release.
I would be inclined to say that the series 1 card is the "RC" and that the series 2 card would be more or less treated as an insert or parallel in that it is not a true rookie card. I know there will be differing opinions but I am just curious about your thoughts.
