Back about 10 years ago on another site (Bricklink) there was a list of stores sorted alphabetically, so many people would start their store name with A, AA, AAA, 1 etc. so they would appear at the top of the list. I finally convinced the site to make that list alternate what letter was shown at the top of the list so it was constantly changing. Guess what, people stopped creating store names beginning with A, AA, AAA, 1 etc. because the incentive was taken away. Something to this affect may help with the TCDB issue of point farmers. 

Thanks to the legit points leaders of which I am not, but do contribute what I can to help the site and let the points fall where they may.

The problems I have come across recently are newer members who have not read the guidelines for image submissions and are posting mockups for their favorite teams/players (i.e. Topps Project70). I have submitted a number of IRs which removed those images but then they were uploaded again by the same members. I think a direct message (assuming they have given permission to receive messages) to the guilty parties with a link to the Image Guidelines is the only way to prevent this from occuring.
