I'm puzzled. I submit a valid price for a card and after I do, there is a notice telling me I should follow the guidelines, which I am. The notice could be for a reason, but that reason I don't understand. For example, I tried submitting a price for a 2018 Topps Archives Jacob Degrom. It said the price should reflect actual sales prices, but it did! This is the link I submitted while trying to submit the price. If anyone could tell me if anything's wrong with that link, I would appreciate it!

Looks OK to me. All that's needed is https://www.ebay.com/itm/164959915640, and as long as you said Auction, set S&H to 0, etc., it should've gone through. Resubmit it and we'll approve it.

I followed your instructions, but it said there was nothing in my queue. Is there some other queue I don't know about?

Happened to me frequently. This site made me feel like I was being called a liar each time I submitted a price frankly, so I just quit trying to do my part...

This is just a personal take. Pricing of any sort sucks. I understand others feel otherwise, but the pricing feature on this site is turned off on my account and anyone (which has only happened once or twice) asks for site pricing as a guide for trading I do not follow through and end the trade. If I have cards for trade I do not want them. If you have cards for trade I assume the same. Now that is not to say that if somebody offers me a couple of 90s cards I need for an autor or higher end card I don't take pause...but in a trading aspect who cares unless it is ridiculous. I am getting rid of cards I don't want, and getting cards I do.

Many members have often mentioned the inaccurate pricing on this site. While I love the site, it's fruatrating when we submit pricing based on today's market sales (as fluctuating as it is right now) only to have issues helping. Everything used to seem priced a little high/low before, perhaps even due to some bad actors trying to push values. Good intended people can make it more realistic and as accurate as possible if we are actually allowed to help.

I completey agree. Why waste all of that time trying to contribute if you know you'll just run into issues every time?! I also agree with you on the inaccuracies with pricing. Sometimes I reflect on my collection and see a card price for a card that can't possibly be worth that much! Sometimes I see cards worth 10-15 cents! First of all, I thought ebay won't let you sell items under $0.99! Second of all, if your source is retail, WHO on earth would benefit from selling a card for like $0.15 or something?! Nobody ever. That's who.

REALLY showing your youth here! MOST of the cards printed in the 1980's are worth a nickel at best!!! Even HOF base cards and inserts might not top a quarter. Most base cards in the 1970's only value about a quarter or two each as well.
It doesn't matter what the minimum listing value is for ebay, COMC, Beckett and so on. THAT alone is exactly why the "values" on this site are so screwed up. TCDB tried to make it better by only allowing these new "links" to sells for adding prices on here. Before that, people could put in any price they wanted with no proof in any way. Many of the prices added before 2019 were actually just the "book value" listed by Beckett. TCDB didn't want any trouble from Beckett (and none of the members want that either), so they removed the book value option and replaced it with retail. But now you need proof that you are reporting an actual sell price to get it listed here. I honestly couldn't care less about the prices listed on this site, new or old. I know the ballpark of the values of my cards and this site doesn't influence that at all.
jdogg - "WHO benefits..." The buyer that wanted that card for their PC or set is who benefits from buying a card for 15 cents! WHO are you to question how others buy or collect? Nobody. That's who!
