How many points can you get for packaging images?
I understand there is no restrictions on these.
So scans, pics, copies are ALL acceptable? Basicly anything that shows the package types.
Do I have this right?

CAD is correct on all that he wrote.
Every image submitted for Packaging is reviewed by Admin, so if it's not acceptable, it will get denied. Every image is worth 1 point.
We even have a list of sets that have ZERO Packaging images in the Things To Do area:

Getting my feet wet adding missing packaging. A few things come to mind as i started, the most oblivious would be the lack of packaging for many items. Would we expect packaging info for every missing set? If so, then some direction is needed before I waste time. Ex. Cards from a Dog Food product, probably in a clear cellophane packaging found in the box, so what are we looking for...the Dog Food box?

If the dog food box has some indication that there are cards inside, that would count as packaging. The cards inside are in a cello pack of some variety, front and back images would be considered packaging.
And yes, packaging for any set/release is welcome. Even packaging images for other forms of packaging not yet shown in sets that already have packaging images. (For example, I noticed that one of the factory sets I own did not have ANY images uploaded. Since it was longer than my scanner bed, I took very careful photos - and then used photoscape to align and crop - and submitted the appropriate images for the factory set.)

I think everyone has the info covered for you Bob. But I don't think clear cellophane packs count unless the card(s) is/are still in the pack. Not entirely sure on that though.

I thought he was referring to cards in the cello pack. A plain cello wrapper with no markings (and no cards) would not be appropriate. (Just like the dog food box with no indication that there are cards inside, that packaging is irrelevant.)

Thank you all, That does clear up a few things. But there will be sets [on the list] with NO conceivable packaging I would think?
Also can the dropdown categories be used more than once? Pack vs Cello Pack, Retail Box vs Hobby Box, things like that.
