Looking at a few of series 2 HRC cards and seeing on other sites, looks like the use the same Player names and numbering system but with other pictures how would a CL be built on that? would it be a VAR or another CL under S2.?

Are they at least denoted on the backs that they come from Series 2?
Should be a separate checklist (if they do distinguish).

The back is no different, and has no mention of Series 2 anywhere, I pulled from series 2 Value boxes,did pull 1 a Juan Soto with same picture out of retail pack.

That's a nightmare.
VARs in the one set, if they exist with a different photo. GRRRR Topps.

If you look at other posts on these Inserts there is no mention of different pictures just states using same players and numbers so no clue which were changed as no set standard if I have 2 with another Pic and 1 with same from S1. so I am confused with this manner of dispersement

I pulled a Soto in Series 1 and one in Seies 2. The only difference I see is the code on the back on the bottom right. One has CODE#CMP034488 and the other has CODE#CMP035380.

By George I Think you got it. I just looked at the code and yes they are different with CMP035380 being the Series 2. still doesn't account which ones have different Photo do they all or are they random

I found the answer on another site. The only ones that should a VAR are players who have been trade. examples are Paul Goldschmidt to St. Louis and Manny Machado to San Diego. That explains alot, so they should be added as VAR since same player and number just team changes
