just found this site and seems like a pretty good resource. would be nice if there were an android app associated with the site. be able to add cards to your collection on the fly, add pics of cards using phone/tab cams... a lot of possibilities, trade online...
Just a thought...

I use the site as is on Google Chrome on my smartphone. It's not really that cumbersome, and it's really nice to have the entire collection available with me at all times should I stumble onto a card shop somewhere. While an actual Android app might be more efficient somehow, I don't feel that I need one.

The use of phone pictures for the general database images would not be allowed as Admin has stated only scans may be used. The photos could be used to add images to the cards in your collection (Detailed Add, or Edit Details). For your own personal use, you can add images using any method you wish. (My user list about the cards I got signed, all the images are the actual signed cards in my collection. That's one way to use your own images instead of the site's images.)

That would be awesome! Love seeing the obscure stuff added here. Might be the only way I'll ever see any of it.
BTW, there was talk about an app previously, but I think Admin pretty much said there would be no resources available for doing such. However, if someone is knowledgable in creating such apps, and took the initiative to approach Admin regarding helping out, there may be an opportunity there.
Reminder to anyone who decides to do this and gets Admin on board with it, I am a software tester by profession and am willing to volunteer my QA abilities to an effort like this.

i had mentioned this in the past.. its a lot easier to scroll and search through an App based product than it is a web version. It would really be super cool, if that app based version could use scan reconigtion- like a bar code- so if im a card shop and scan a card .. let's say -- football player "ABC" on the Giants.. it would serach for that player/years or just provide a hyperlink to that player

I think there must be enough people on the site with enough experience to understand what an app shpuld be capable of providing.. problem is development does take a lot of effort and time. Input from the end users helps from the beginning though.

I'd be willing to donate a few dollars towards the Application Build... I really like what you all have got going on here. This will be big
