I have a site usage question that hopefully hasn't been asked and answered somewhere in the forums before. I've recently started to input cards to the site and created multiple collections and renamed them to reflect how I collect. One of my collections consists of Topps cards of the teams that were participants in the World Series. Another of my collections is strictly Cubs cards. I started out by entering World Series cards to my World Series collection. Then I started adding in Cubs cards but mistakenly added them to the World Series collection and not the Cubs collection where they belong. Is there any simple way to move the Cubs cards I entered into my World Series collection to the Cubs collection?

Also is there a way to define the personal constraints of a set? For example, all I will ever want of the 1965 O-Pee-Chee baseball set are the Cubs from that set. The stats for me say I have 10 / 283 cards for 3.5% complete. For my purposes I actually have 10 / 17 cards and am 58.8% complete. Is there a way to personally define just a subset of cards (ie. the 17 Cubs cards from 1965 OPC) as a set so that those stats are of more significance to tracking my progress?

Unfortunately it can't be done yet. I am eagerly awaiting that function, but the multiple collection tool is really new, maybe 2 months old.

I just contacted Admin about the moving of cards between collections this past weekend or Monday. Very recently.

I think it was rolled out about 3 months ago, and there are still a couple bugs. But it works well for the most part.

Also, if you go to the 1965 OPC set and go to collection, then filter by Cubs, I think it gives you the percentage then that you're looking for, however, there is no way for users to define what their "set' is.

I did go to the 1965 OPC set and go to collection, then filtered by Cubs. I see the cards I have highlighted in blue, the rest I need in pink but the percentages reflected are still for the whole set. I love the fact I can enter cards as being part of 1 collection or another. That's extremely useful for my purposes. I need to be more careful entering them under the correct collection. That's obviously on me. I just wish there was a simpler way to move the cards from one collection to another. As it is, it looks like I'll have to determine which collection is "more correct" then delete the less correct collection and cards that are out of place and start over.

Agreed - I would really love that feature which would allow me to somehow only show what I was looking to collect in a given set vs. what I currently have - then show that percentage.  Maybe the following formula...

Cards I Currently have in that set (not including the ones for sale/trade) / (Cards I currently have in that set + the cards I have on my want list) = % shown on set collected.

Like you and the Cubs, for most sets I am only looking to collect the Brewers.  So, if there are 10 Brewer cards in the set and I have 4 and there are 6 in my want list = I have collected 40% of the set.

I am thinking it would be a nice feature to see that in a quick glance to see my goals and then maybe a way to print that list as a reference.
