Would it be possible to add a feature that allows you to search by just the card number and the player's name?  I have found that sometimes I am unsure of the name of the set so I would like a way to search for the player's name and the card number.  Thank you. 

I am bumping this because I would be interested in knowing if this is in the works or if it was missed by admin due to the lateness of the request. 

If you click Browse, and then select your player's sport, you can choose the name option and find the player. Most players have a page set up for them. You can then click on the year of the card (in the copyright information on the card if nothing else) on the page that pulls up and scroll through until you find one that matches.

It will take a little effort, the amount of effort in direct correlation to the amount of cards the person has recieved, but eventually you will either find the missing card, or have to request the Admin to add the set if it's an oddball, obscure, or very new insert.

 Thank you for the information Billy.  I have been doing that, but still have a hard time trying to discover the card sometimes.Thank you Admin for putting it on the "To Do" list.  I am looking forward to having this search option some time soon.  

A new link has now been added to people's pages labeled "Card Numbers".  This will list out all of the card numbers associated with the person and allow you to filter accordingly.  Similarly, player pages also now have a "Notes" link for filtering by the note field (RC, SP, AU, etc.).

Where is this "card number" link?

If you go to a Player/Person's page, you'll see the link across the top.
