trying to find a card that is supposedly in collection - a 2014 Topps Update Future is Now card - that i dont see in the physical collection  

know about using transaction -> tools -> card finder but the only cards showing for 2014 Topps Update are #US no #FN

thought maybe it was suppose to be received in one of the unfinished transaction (have been there for more then 30 days - think the directions have been followed correctly to resolve them - but that is another topic) -- checked those and no 2014 Topps Update Future is Now cards in any of those transaction

is there any other way to find this card?

yes i know i can just put it back as wanting but ultimately wondering how to find the 2014 Topps Update Future is Now set (or any others that might be found in transactions -> tools -> card finder

It won’t be under the set “2014 Topps Update”, it would be listed as “2014 Topps Update - The Future is Now”

ok that might be true but the only options i have are 2014 Topps and 2014 Topps Update

was guessing that the 2014 Topps Update was a subset of 2014 Topps Update so would be listed there

Maybe it didn’t get entered in a transaction.  I was going to suggest you look at “Edit details” on the card to see when it was added and that might clue you in, but I see you have already deleted it and re-added it to your wantlist.

just trying to understand - you are saying that the 'edit details' 'added on' date/time will give a general idea of when the card was added to the collection? 

what happens to the 'added on' date/time when if the card is moved to another collection?

thought that collection -> recently added would be another why to find a 'missing' card but couldnt find it there so yes i did just delete the card in question and added it back as a want

Moving a card to a different collection does not change the “added” date/time.
