So I went back to Target yesterday and did something unusual for me. I bought what think is a "blaster box", 72 cards for $9.99 and they hand on a display rack. I was lucky these 72 cards came with two "pre-creased" and one badly nicked card. That's 6%. No way this should be happenening. Just curious if more people will be having this problem.

Though it adds nothing to the conversation, the cards you bought were referred to as a "hanger pack". The "blaster box" is the square box that contains 101 cards in 10 individual packs inside and Target/Walmart usually sells for ~$20.

The Topps Company will replace any Topps produced card that is determined to be damaged or defective from any current-year product (only), while supplies last. Topps will send a replacement of similar value (same card not guaranteed).
Maybe worth it maybe not, but maybe they would be nice enough to replace them. It must be a complaint that they get quite often.

It's not like Wal-Mart or Target always have their best people handling the cards so unfortunately it's a common occurrence; I've been there before. It is a good thing that Topps will replace.

I don't know if this happens to others, but whenever I buy a blaster of any chrome type product, the cards are most often warped with the curve going from the bottom left corner to the top right corner. So the cards are diagonally curved. This happened with Bowman, Topps Chrome, and Donruss Optic last year. My suspicion is that since I live in AZ, the shipment of boxes may be getting affected by the heat somehow. Does anyone else notice this in other locations?

Shannon - certain Chrome/chrome-type products do that - even in NY (humid summers, dry winters).
Joe - If you contact Topps about damaged product, they will require a receipt for your purchase in order to send you any replacements. (This makes it difficult when you've made a purchase from a hobby store - or your friend - and don't get a receipt.)

I got a 2010 Chrome card in a repack yesterday and it was badly warped in the same way.

No, this was Topps fault, not Target personnel. Hangar pack was mint.

You purchased a hanger box. Blaster boxes are the $19.99 product and are blocky.
