Excluding Canada, I've just sent my first worldwide shipment...to Hungary. Two Tom Brady cards. Seems pretty simple, straightforward, and inexpensive (one Global stamp) for just two cards. Do any of you veteran ebay sellers have worldwide shipping experience?

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I've done both where I've had to send it directly to the other country (Japan and Netherlands I can remember) and some through the ebay worldwide shipping thing (where you send it to Minnesota, and they send it out). Obviously, the ebay one is simple. You get your normal payments and ship out the item. The buyer pays ebay the extra amount (I assume).
Sending elsewhere is a pain trying to figure out how much to collect. In most cases, I barely broke even, I usually lost money on the shipping.

As a buyer in Canada, I hate the global shipping thing when I want to buy cards from the States, It usually costs way too much to ship a few cards. May be a useful thing for larger items but I don't like it for cards. Some dealers will ship a card or two cheaper if I ask, some will not.

Expect the same in return. 1989 and older are assigned a grade. Everything on my trade list is available for sale. Reasonable prices based on condition. If it's not on my tradelist, it's not available.

On ebay I only charge 75-cents shipping Worldwide and will combine for multiple cards. I can (and have) ship approx 18 cards in my photo mailers for $1.82 to Canada. More than that and it exceeds the 1/4-inch thickness limit and becomes a package; then the cost jumps.

You are one of the reasonable sellers on EBay, thank you. I don't mind paying $3 or so for shipping for a few cards, but $10-15 is a bit much. I don't need expedited shipping.

As a buyer in Canada I flatly refuse to buy from anyone using the global shipping. I will not pay $20 shipping on a $2 card. I also despise that COMC is selling on ebay now for this very same reason

I had an Ebay sale to a member who lived in England. I ship outside of Ebay. The buyer was willing to pay the shipping and it was not cheap.
