How come nobody has thought to add a wrapper checkbox to the ones that come in packs

I try to collect wrappers to go at the front of my sets. some sets have variation wrappers with different pictures on the front or add on the back but we have no box to say we have that wrapper

Don’t think it’s a collected item that’s why it has not been added.

try buying some of these wrappers on ebay and you will say otherwise. An example is that the original garbage pail kids wrappers can be found with 25 cents marked on them and blank. Pokemon sets have 4 or 5 variation pictures per set.

Yes, there is a market for wrapper collectors out there. PSA and other services will even grade them.

It comes down to one of two things. Either no one has suggested it yet and should go into the new feature tracker or it goes beyond the scope of the site. Every set has a Packaging section and images are captured there, even variations if someone adds them. But I have a feeling the checklists, like we have for cards, is beyond Admin's intent. He wants to checklist trading cards, not the packaging. If we did wrappers then we'd need to add wax box types (blaster, cello, special edition, etc.), FS box types and so one. And yes, I am aware there are some packaging checklisted here like Donruss Preferred and UD Retro, special exemptions apply. It's a slippery slope when moving beyond cards because where does it stop? History says someone will keep pushing the boundaries and push hard. 

To Jim's point, it stops where the manufacturer has posted/printed a checklist for the "packaging". If they checklist it, it's listed here. If they didn't, it just gets lumped into packaging. But just like other items that are not listable here (such as ticket stubs and pocket schedules), doesn't mean they are not collectible. Just means they are beyond the scope of this site.
